I am not a huge fan of this sort of thing, so I'll keep it short n' sweet:

I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, where like most other American cities, the norm was typical Top 40 and embarrassingly bad rap music. My introduction to electronic music was probably a few years later than most. At the time, Madison had a small underground music scene that I was introduced to, but I really didn't start appreciating dance music until my first few years at college. I remember being drawn to house music for my adoration to studio mixes of David Alvarado, old Mark Farina mixtapes, and live recordings of Chicago native, Diz.

Since those days, I guess I've considered myself to be a house music lover first, and a DJ second. As much as I've enjoyed performing in front of lively crowds, the most beneficial things that house music have given me have been wonderful friendships, countless laughs, and probably a few too many beers ;)
